The World of Riley

RILEY
I didn’t find vintage—I grew up in it.
Some of my earliest memories are of being surrounded by fabric rolls, stacks of denim, and racks of worn-in pieces my dad had been collecting for decades. I would play in them, pull things apart, and start creating my own designs without even realizing it. It was never formal—it was instinct.
That environment shaped everything. It taught me to see clothing differently—not as something disposable, but as something worth keeping, reworking, and making your own.
Riley came from that foundation, but it became something of my own.
I take authentic vintage and either preserve it or rework it by hand in Los Angeles—cutting, patching, and rebuilding each piece into something more personal, more refined, while still holding onto what made it special in the first place. The goal is never to make something look new, but to make it feel like it has always been yours.
No two reworked pieces are ever the same. Each one is constructed using patches and fabrics pulled from the Riley archive—a collection of vintage built over decades. Because of that, every garment carries multiple histories within it.
Alongside the reworked vintage, Riley also produces original pieces. Our sweatpants are cut, sewn, printed, and finished in Los Angeles, maintaining the same level of attention to detail and craftsmanship.
There’s a balance I’m always chasing—rugged and feminine, structured and soft. Utility fabrics reimagined through patchwork, lace, and subtle detailing. Nothing feels overworked. Nothing feels forced—just enough to transform the piece while keeping its original character intact.
Nothing is mass-produced. Most pieces are one-of-one or created in small, intentional runs.
Riley is about creating clothing that feels collected over time—not bought all at once. Pieces that feel personal, worn in, and impossible to replicate.
I’m excited for you to add pieces from this collection into your own—to wear them, live in them, and keep them as part of your story over time.
Each piece is special because it already was—and because of what it becomes.
Made in Los Angeles.
